Team INFORMA SUP Adventure Hosted By Flyboard Malaysia.

On 18 Dec 2017, Team InForma drove up the Peninsula Malaysia for a little stand up paddling getaway in Putrajaya. We left home at 7.30am for Putrajaya via Tuas Second Link. After two toilet stops and a mandatory brunch stop at A&W at Jejantas Air Keroh, we finally reached Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel at 2.00pm.

About Putrajaya

Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. It's known for its late-20th century architecture including the Putra Mosque. It is the federal administrative centre for Malaysia which houses the ministries and civil servants. Did you know also know that Putrajaya has the largest roundabout of 3.5km located right infront of the Prime Minister's Office? What we love most about Putrajaya is that the population is not as dense as Kuala Lumpur and you can still enjoy shopping and get a good meal at nearby shopping centres like Alamanda or IOI City Mall.

Our SUP Adventure Hosted by Flyboard Malaysia

We made reservations for SUP board rental with Flyboard Malaysia via their Facebook page 3 days before our trip (please note that advanced bookings are required as the shop is only open on appointment basis, especially on weekdays). They were very responsive to our requests.

Co-founded by Raja Aris Dzulkifli and his uncle Raja Putra Shah, Flyboard Malaysia headquarter is located at Marina Putrajaya (5-min walking distance from Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside). They provide various water sports activities such as Flyboarding, Hoverboarding, Stand Up Paddling and Kayaking.

Beginner paddlers will very much enjoy the calm water and for adventure-seekers, paddle further to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Putrajaya Lake (Enjoy the beautiful Putrajaya Lake in the video attached in this article). Water condition is good for those who wants to focus on improving your paddling techniques.

Alternatively, bring your special date to catch the sunset on SUP . Shower facilities are conveniently located within 100 metres from Flyboard Malaysia. And you can have a nice dinner at the cafe located right above Flyboard Malaysia.

A big thank you to Raja Aris Dzulkifli from Flyboard Malaysia for the warm hospitality. He really made us feel like home, sharing his knowledge from water sports to business to how-to-eat-like-a-local in Putrajaya.

A definite comeback and we look forward to more adventures and collaborations in 2018!
